Tips and advice on using Wonderbag

Here are some good tips and advice for your Wonderbag!

1.

Bring the food to a gentle boil and let it simmer before covering with a lid and placing in the Wonderbag.
Cooking time will vary based on recipe, type of food, and altitude.
Place the cookware immediately from the stove on a stand or tea towel inside the Wonderbag



2.

Heat is retained more effectively when;
1) the pot is mostly full and sealed with a tight-fitting lid
2) you don't open the lid to check the food.

Opening the lid will lower the temperature of the food, so if you need to check,
Let the pot of food come back to a boil before putting it back in the Wonderbag.



3.

Wonderbag can be spot washed and hung to dry.
Gentle hand washing is recommended and minimal detergent is used.


4.

If you're cooking meat, try starting with smaller pieces rather than whole joints.
It is helpful to understand your Wonderbag cooking times before experimenting with large cuts of meat,
which often require longer cooking times.


5.

Before you put your pot in the Wonderbag,
make sure you place a kitchen towel or wooden cutting board to prevent the inner fabric from burning.
