A great alternative to plastic wrap. Keeps food fresh and nice for a long time. Only natural and harmless substances. Can be used over and over again.
Bees Wrap has partnered with 1% for the Planet and donates a percentage of sales to their work.

Bees wrap is a sensible, environmentally friendly and natural alternative to plastic wrap and other plastic storage. These beautiful sheets of organic cotton infused with beeswax, jobajoba oil and tree resin are a great way to store leftovers, fruit, bread and much more.

USE
Bees Wrap is used to wrap bread, cheese, vegetables, snacks, sandwiches, or to cover a bowl, a jug, a saucepan, etc.

You can use the sheets over and over again if you treat them correctly.

Wash the sheets in COOL water with mild dish soap. Hang them up to dry, fold them up and put them in the drawer until you need them. It doesn't get any worse. One sheet of Bees Wrap will last about a year, if you treat it properly. Never use hot water on it! It destroys the coating. And NOTE! Do not use the sheets for meat.

They are not suitable for use in the oven, microwave or dishwasher.

You soften the Bees Wrap sheets with the heat of your hands. Squeeze the sheet a little and it will adhere like plastic wrap. Brilliant!

ECOLOGICAL BENEFITS
Bees Wrap is made only from natural substances that are not dangerous to nature, animals or humans.

The problem with plastic is that when dangerous substances are banned, they are often replaced by new dangerous substances that can disrupt the hormones of humans. In addition, plastic litters nature, destroys animal, fish and bird life and spreads as microplastics. Plastic is incredibly useful, but we have to limit its use if we are not to destroy ourselves and the environment around us.

Good tips for those of you who have bought a Wonderbag!

  • Our bags are delivered vacuum packed. Take the time to loosen the compact foam with your fingers.
  • A little warmth helps – a few minutes in front of a sunny window can soften the filling and make it more pliable. It can take up to 48 hours and several rounds for the bag to be completely “unwrapped”
  • It is important to place a mat or folded kitchen towel between the hot pot and the bottom of the Wonderbag to protect the fabric from scorch marks.
  • Use a pot that matches the size of the Wonderbag you have purchased – it helps keep food warm longer.
  • Make sure your food reaches boiling point and simmers (cooking time depends on the recipe) before placing the pot in the Wonderbag. This ensures that the food continues to cook after it is removed from the heat source.
  • Start with smaller pieces of vegetables or meat when testing out the Wonderbag. Once you get a feel for how long your food takes, you can move on to larger pieces.

Good luck!
